My muscles hurt and I like it. Weird I know. At least they are sore and I know that good is going to come of it. It has been way too long since I have worked out. Geesh....two kids later Ive got some bum toning and loose tummy to fix!
Everyday is pretty much a work out for me. A lot of calorie burning from the time I get up till I go to bed. Any other Stay at home mama's get what I mean?
No sitting. The only TV I have on in the day is cartoons. It is non stop from crying needs to washing my 3 yr olds face after a sticky candy cane, making breakfast, lunch, dinner, diapers, loading the kids into their car seats, load myself in the car then realize I forgot something in the house... back in the car. Then "oops" forgot baby bottle in the house. Get back out of the car. Back in the car. I forgot to let the dog out to pee...back out of the car. Dog peed. lock up for the 4th time...finally back in the car ready to go out.
did I forget....
Up the stairs to laundry, down the stairs Those baskets get heavy when you have toys loaded on top of them as well. Or the always "Mom I'm hungry, mom....mom....mom...MOM can you get me this! Okay I'm done the vent. Kids are exhausting! I love them with every ounce of me..buy they sure poop me out. I seriously never stop moving. I would love to know how many calories that I burn throughout my day. It is scary to know what I wouldn't be burning if I didn't have kids to chase after all day. When I purchased my gym membership at the YMCA I was a little nervous to find out if I even would have any energy to work out after the end of my busy Stay-at home mom day. So after one week of trial...I LOVE IT!! I look so forwards to going to the gym at night after the kiddo's are in bed. Even though you may catch me out of breath on the treadmill it is a quiet time for me. It is "Me" time. ...Much needed. Who knew I would come home after and feel happy, energetic and very refreshed? I sure didnt. I think I am going to like this new lifestyle. It has only been a week, but I know that it will be very good for me and my family to keep this up. my tired rut is over. I like having energy!

Just because I Love to bake and decorate seriously high sugar Red Light foods does not mean I have to stop baking because I want to loose weight. This is why I am going to lifestyle the weight watchers route because you can take of a bite of everything...you just have to count points. Portions people. You Are What You Eat.
"Your arteries are the rivers within your body that continually transport essential nutrients and oxygen from your heart to the rest of your body".
A big part of staying healthy and also keeping your arteries clean and clear is related to your diet and what you eat. If you have read on my about me profile you will have learned that I had a health scare a few years back. I now plan to do as much as I can to prevent any problems in the future. I control what I eat so why not make sure that what I am putting in my body is the best thing for it?! There’s no joke in the popular saying that says: “You are what you eat.” It just makes good sense that what you put in your body is what will reflect out in all aspects of your health.
It’s been reported over and over that eating a cleaner diet full of fresh fruits and vegetables (preferably organic) can really help prevent heart disease and other life-threatening ailments – plus help scrub away built-up clogging plaque in our arteries.
A friend of mine is amazingly dedicated to putting the best foods on the table for her and her family. I do envy her for her dedication and healthy chosen lifestyle to what is called "clean eating". I used to have her daughter in my day care and the pressure was on to make sure I put down healthier meals for her daughter. We always do eat healthy anyways but when she brought the eating cleaner lifestyle to my attention I never really did realize how bad some of the store bought ( apparently healthy foods) were so bad for me and my family. If you read her blog you will learn a lot about this. She brought to my attention her cooking habits and lifestyle changes she had made for her family. She uses no processed food as her guideline and lives by that. I am a big fan of her blog. She has brought a lot to my attention about eating better through her blog I have learned about the importance of eating cleaner. I will try little by little to get some of the bad processed food out of our fridge but it may take some time to to go full fledged clean eating. Right now my concentration and focus is to loose a few pounds , meaning I may have a few artificial ingredients in my meals...but one day I would love to be as dedicated as my friend Dallas.
